Return & Exchange Policy
At Rivora Jewellery, we are committed to providing quality diamond jewellery with excellent craftsmanship and transparent service. We understand that jewellery is a valuable purchase, and we aim to maintain a fair and clear return and exchange process for our customers.
Please read our Return & Exchange Policy carefully before placing an order.
1. Return Eligibility
Eligible jewellery may be considered for return or exchange within 7 days from the date of delivery, subject to the terms and conditions mentioned in this policy.
To be eligible for a return or exchange:
- The jewellery must be in its original condition.
- The product must not have been worn, damaged, altered, resized or repaired after delivery.
- All original packaging, certificates, invoices, tags and accompanying documents must be available.
- The product must pass Rivora Jewellery's quality and authenticity inspection.
- The return or exchange request must be approved by Rivora Jewellery.
Submitting a return request does not guarantee its approval.
2. Returns or Exchanges After 7 Days and Used Jewellery
Jewellery presented for return or exchange after 7 days from delivery, or jewellery that has been used or worn, may be accepted only at the discretion of Rivora Jewellery, subject to inspection and approval.
If such a return or exchange is approved, the following deductions will apply:
- 100% deduction of applicable making charges.
- 30% deduction from the diamond value mentioned in the original Rivora Jewellery invoice. This deduction will be calculated only on the invoiced diamond value, not on the total jewellery invoice value.
- Any other applicable deductions, if any, will be communicated to the customer and applied only where permitted by applicable law.
The remaining diamond value, along with the applicable value of the gold and other components as assessed by Rivora Jewellery, will be used to calculate the final return or exchange value.
3. Solitaire Jewellery – Non-Returnable Policy
Solitaire jewellery is non-returnable and non-refundable. Products classified as solitaire jewellery are not eligible for a return, refund or exchange due to the specific nature and value of solitaire diamonds.
This restriction does not exclude remedies available under applicable law for a confirmed manufacturing defect, an incorrect product supplied, or other circumstances where a remedy is legally required.
4. Customized and Made-to-Order Jewellery
Jewellery that is custom-made, personalized, specially designed, resized or manufactured according to a customer's specific requirements is generally not eligible for return or exchange.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Jewellery with customized designs or specifications.
- Specially ordered diamond sizes, shapes or qualities.
- Engraved or personalized jewellery.
- Jewellery manufactured to a customer's specific size or measurements.
- Products modified at the customer's request.
Any applicable statutory rights remain unaffected.
5. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products
If your jewellery arrives damaged, has a confirmed manufacturing defect, or is different from the product ordered, please contact Rivora Jewellery within 48 hours of delivery, where reasonably possible.
Customers are encouraged to provide photographs or videos of the product and packaging to help us assess the issue.
Our team will examine the product and determine an appropriate resolution in accordance with the circumstances and applicable law. Depending on the issue, the resolution may include repair, replacement, refund or another legally appropriate remedy.
The standard return restrictions and deductions in this policy will not be used to deny a remedy required by applicable law.
6. Exchange Policy
Eligible jewellery may be exchanged subject to product availability, inspection and approval by Rivora Jewellery.
For approved exchanges involving jewellery returned after 7 days or used jewellery, the deductions described in Section 2 will apply.
Any difference between the approved exchange value and the value of the replacement product will be payable by the customer or adjusted as applicable.
Solitaire jewellery remains subject to the non-returnable and non-exchangeable policy in Section 3, except where a remedy is required by applicable law.
7. Product Inspection and Valuation
All jewellery accepted for return or exchange is subject to inspection by Rivora Jewellery.
The inspection may include verification of:
- Gold purity and weight.
- Diamond specifications and the diamond value stated in the original invoice.
- Stone setting and overall craftsmanship.
- Product condition and signs of wear or damage.
- Any resizing, alteration, repair or modification.
- Original certificates, tags, packaging and documentation.
The final return or exchange value will be calculated based on the original invoice, applicable deductions under this policy, the product inspection and any other relevant terms disclosed at the time of purchase.
8. Refund Policy
Refunds will be processed only where a refund is approved under this policy or required by applicable law.
Approved refunds will generally be issued through the original payment method or another legally permitted payment method.
For approved returns involving used jewellery or jewellery returned after 7 days, the applicable making-charge and diamond-value deductions described in Section 2 will be applied before calculating the refund, where legally permissible.
The processing time will depend on the payment method and completion of the required inspection and verification.
9. Return Procedure and Shipping
To request a return or exchange, customers should contact Rivora Jewellery and provide:
- Order number and invoice.
- Customer name and contact details.
- Reason for the request.
- Product photographs or other information, if requested.
Customers must obtain return authorization and follow the shipping instructions provided by Rivora Jewellery before sending jewellery back.
Jewellery should be packed securely and shipped using an approved, trackable and appropriately insured shipping method, as instructed by our team.
Responsibility for return shipping costs will be communicated when the return or exchange is approved, subject to applicable law.
10. Products Generally Not Eligible for Return
In addition to the specific exclusions described above, returns or exchanges may be refused where permitted by law for products that:
- Have been damaged through misuse or improper handling.
- Have been altered, resized or repaired without authorization.
- Are missing required certificates, tags or original documentation.
- Have been significantly worn or are not in the required condition.
- Were specially manufactured or personalized according to the customer's requirements.
- Are classified as solitaire jewellery, subject to Section 3.
11. Policy Transparency and Customer Support
Rivora Jewellery aims to communicate applicable return and exchange conditions clearly before an order is placed. Product-specific terms disclosed at the time of purchase will apply alongside this policy, subject to applicable law.
If you have questions or concerns regarding a product, return or exchange, please contact our customer support team for assistance.

At Rivora Jewellery, our goal is to build long-term customer relationships through quality craftsmanship, transparent communication and dependable service.
